About this Item

Despite its age this book remains the standard for teaching and learning effective writing for business communications. Gunning was a forerunner in the communications industry and discovered early on that the problem with people having difficulty in reading and understanding business letters and other communications was not with the readers but with the writers. He invented the "fog index," a method of measuring the readability of written material used for many decades. The book is an 8th printing, tightly bound, indicating only light reading, without names or other markings in a dust jacket with one closed tear and slight edgewear but not price clipped, $3.95. Clean and bright in a mylar sleeve. Bookseller Inventory # 002473
