COMMERCIAL HISTORY OF THE CITY OF COLUMBUS, OHIO, PHOTOGRAPHS AND BIOGRAPHIES OF CITIZENS, PHOTOGRAPHS AND BIOGRAPHIES OF OFFICERS, MISCELLANEOUS STATISTICS, DIRECTORY OF LABOR UNIONS, STATE LABOR LAWS, ETC., ETC., ETC. 472 pages (pagination includes front and rear boards as front and rear pastedown are respectively paged as 2 and 471). Hardcover: H 23.75cm x L 16.25cm. Dark green cloth rubbed with light staining, mild wear at board corners, light scuffing at spine ends, spine's gilt stamping remains bright. Front and rear hinges quite shaken causing text block to sag leaving its bottom edge flush with bottom of both boards; slender splitting evident between pages 14-15 plus other lesser stress points to binding. Small chip at front pastedown's top margin; scattered light soiling; top margins of pages 313-314, 343-344, and 349-350 have impressions from removed paper clips. Only fair copy at best but apparently a rather scarce book as OCLC locates copies at only five member institutions. B/w photographs and illustrations as well as advertisements throughout.
