The original 1956 edition of this was not illustrated by Potter either -- this new edition is the first with color illustrations, Quite nice ones, too, not like Potter but very pretty. The story is based on a true tale of a British pigeon family. This copy is very nice in a somewhat browned dustjacket, unclipped and unmarked other than the staining. Seller Inventory # 201292
