Second printing, January 2006. Stiff color-illustrated stapled wraps. Interior comics are black & white and two-tone. Unpaginated. Clean and unmarked, as new. ~~ This is the first issue of the Tales Designed to Thrizzle series, NOT to be confused with Volume One, which was published in hardcover and anthologizes several issues. This "comic book magazine," designed to "thrill and dazzle," is comically divided up into three sections: adult, kids, and old people, and the reader is warned not to stray outside of the appropriate section. The magazine contains comic strips, "advertisements," and short "informative pieces." Kupperman's work revels in absurdity and surrealism, and has appeared in many publications, including The New Yorker, The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Fortune, and Nickelodeon Magazine, as well as some of the McSweeney's books. He is the creator of the comic strips 'Up All Night' and 'Found in the Street,' and his most recent book is "Mark Twain's Autobiography 1910-2010." This copy is signed by Kupperman on the first page, with an accompanying doodle. Bookseller Inventory #
