Dent & Co., 1909.Limited to 750 numbered copies (this copy being No. 728), signed by the artist. Large quarto (11 1/4 x 8 5/16 inches; 286 x 211 mm.). [2, limitation leaf], xii, 304 pp. Thirteen mounted color plates, including frontispiece (with tissue guard) and the additional plate not present in the trade edition. Two full-page illustrations in black and white, twenty chapter headings, and fourteen tail-pieces.Original white buckram decoratively stamped and lettered in gilt on front cover and spine. Later rose-colored silk ties. Top edge gilt, others uncut. Vellum-style gold pictorial endpapers. Spine slightly darkened otherwise a near fine copy.
