Translation of Wagner's opera of the same name, derived from German mythology, Pogany's presentation includes profuse amounts of illustration throughout printed in two-tone lithograph, printed on heavy grey stock with illustrated endpapers, as well as 16 mounted colour plates. Unpaginated. Bound in grey cloth blue and black decoration and ornate gilt stamped ornamention, vignette in black to rear board, gilt titles to spine. quarto. Marks and wrinkles to cloth on boards (mostly front), gilt dimmed on spine, corners bumped, stamp to ffep on top right corner, pages and plates clean, binding firm. Seller Inventory # 78796
