About this Item

"Taps at Reveille" by F. Scott Fitzgerald. First Edition, First Printing in the rare original First Issue dust jacket. Published by Charles Scribner's Sons in New York in 1935. The book measures approximately 7.75" x 5.5". There are 407 pages of text. First Issue of the book with pages 349-352 uncancelled. First issue dust jacket with the $2.50 stamped on the front flap. The dust jacket is in very good condition. Minor chipping and edgewear to the extremities, more so to the top and bottom of the spine. Sun fading to the spine, with additional wear to the joints. Overall, a much nicer example than normally encountered. The book is in near fine to fine condition. The only flaw being some darkening to the front endpaper and pastedown. A wonderful addition to any rare book library. Please view the many other rare titles available for purchase at our store. We are always interested in purchasing individual or collections of fine books. Inventory #(E7-7). Bookseller Inventory # 001438
