Book Description World Publishing, U.S., 1969. Hardcover. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. First U.S. edition. First published in the U.K. by Oxford University Press, 1968. (This U.S. edition is usually listed as 1968 - just because the only date in the book is 1968, the copyright date. It actually came out the year after the U.K. edition.) Terrific picture book about a naughty boy coming good, with Papas's beautifully observed, loose and lively artwork inspired by a trip he made to India. White laminated boards with color illustration front and back; pink endpapers. World Library Binding. A fine copy in very good dust jacket with flap corners clipped, although price of $4.28 (!) is still evident, and slight wear to folds and spine ends. A great copy of this lovely book.
