About this title

Synopsis:

The purpose of this tale, this fictionalized biography of a youth whose life and death hold great meaning for the youth of today, is to present an account of what one youth had to experience and tell

About the Author:

Father Frank, a published author, has contributed articles to some thirty religious magazines, on a variety of topics: religious, biographical, medical-moral issues, and fiction, with a background including military service in World War Two as a Naval Pharmacist Mate, thirteen years in nursing, priestly ministry as a Hospital Chaplain and parish work. Father Sullivan has earned a Doctorate in Psychology. A social activist, he has worked hard to improve the lot of the poor, the handicapped and the mentally retarded as a board member to establish a pantry cupboard, low-income housing for the elderly and establish five hospices to meet the needs of the terminally ill victims of cancer. Also, Father Sullivan conducts conferences on Right-to-Lives issues, gives parish missions, retreats and days of recollection. Retired now, he remains active serving in meeting human needs: physical, spiritual, and emotional in parish and hospital ministries. Father Sullivan is currently working on his own geographical account, a World War Two memorial, detailing experiences that led to a nursing career, culminating in his becoming both a priest and a psychologist.
