A relic from the pioneer days, this work is an account of Ezra Meeker's trip with an ox and cow team along the Oregon Trail from the Missouri River in the east to Puget Sound in the west (in 1852) and back from west to east with an ox team at the age of 76 (in 1906). With many black & white photos. Self-published by the author. --- In full dark green cloth-covered boards with black & white photo of author and ox team pasted on cover. Likely published c.1906-1920s, though 1906 date appears in the book. --- Covers have darkened, with wear to edges of cloth and mottled spots to back cover. Front and rear hinges have been tape-repaired and with some light foxing but leaves remain relatively bright and textblock is firm.; Small Octavo (7-1/2 to 8 in. tall); 248 pages.
