[32] p., a small booklet (5 1/2" x 4 1/4"), wraps. This little booklet, the eighth in this format to have been published by the bookshop, really is about how to tell a story, specifically to children: tips for conducting a story hour; lists of suggested stories to read to them, by age group, or for children's own reading. The author's tips on storytelling-use of the voice, breath control, pace, etc.--could be useful to anyone in making a speech or giving a performance. Cute little illustrations throughout; the booklet appears to have been printed from a typewritten original. Near fine with two small, light stains on the front cover. Bookseller Inventory # 101814JG
