Contains the 3rd serialization of Simone de Beauvoir's "La femme et les mythes." This was to be a basis of the first volume of Beauvoir's "The Second Sex" published a year later in 1949. Generally good condition but has back cover issues, not separated but glued binding seems to be weak in lower back and lower spine area. Otherwise a solid copy. This does still have the 20 page June Bulletin 1948 insert, No. 12, covering a variety of past and related content.
