Scarce work that dicusses, from an engineering standpoint, the principles involved in hghway work. Includes chapters on drainage of streets and roads, location and improvement of country roads, broken-stone roads, pavement foundations, brick pavements, asphalt pavements, wood pavements, stone-block pavements, city streets, and general considerations. Very good, hinges fully intact, edge tidemarking to aproximately the first 50 leaves and evidence of removed bookplate or pocket.
