This book has burgundy boards, with lettering on the spine. They are in a very good condition, with some fading of the jacket colour, and slight scuffing along the spine top, bottom and edges. There is also slight edge ware bends on the corners There is no jacket with this book. The pages are uncut and in a very good condition, for the age of the book. There are light pencil marks (ticks) and sentences underlined on some of the pages. There are no pictorial illustrations in the book, just literary details. The page numbers go to 172 and then there is a new section called Catalogue of Books, published by James MacLehose & Sons, Published to the University of Glasgow (24 pages). I have classed the book as being in a very good condition, given its age and despite of the above details.
