The report begins with catalogues of animals, minerals, and fossils recently added to the State Cabinet of Natural History. It then goes on to describe the history and function of Native American artifacts discovered around the Finger Lakes that now reside in the State's collection. The report then shifts to a detailed analysis of the geology and mineralogy of New York State.
