Later printing. Quarto. xii, 231pp. Illustrated with black-and-white plates with a map of Martha's Vineyard laid in. Owner bookplate on the front pastedown and some rubbing and soiling to the boards, very good in a very good dust jacket with chips and tears along the edges including a 1" tear to the foot of the spine not affecting any text, a small dampstain at the crown of the spine and one to the top of the front panel. "The Life of the Worshipful Governor and Chief Magistrate of the Island of Martha's Vineyard; Proprietary of Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket and the Elizabeth Islands, and Lord of the Manor of Tisbury in North America" (from the title page).
