Light rubbing to boards and backstrip, some chipping to spine ends, both front & rear boards partially detached. Early owner signature to front free endpaper, occasional foxing, interior otherwise clean and bright. A good copy. $50. * Later edition of a guide first published in 1837. Thomas was an Associate Judge of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Center who also served in the state legislature and the United States Congress.
