About this Item

Single-fold, newsprint flyer. Chipped edges and expected aging, but overall in excellent condition for a fragile piece of ephemera. The flyer is undated, but it is probably from the 1920's. Moorfield Storey is listed as President. He served in that office from 1909 to 1929. A flyer that was no doubt distributed throughout black communities everywhere in the U.S. 'During the past 18 months 161 additional communities have discovered the advantages of linking up their local efforts with the combined efforts of the more than 225 branches and 65,000 paid up members of the NAACP.' WorldCat locates no copies in libraries. ; Large 8vo 9" - 10" tall; 4 pages. Bookseller Inventory # 14771
