About this title

This book is an interweaving of topics meant to stimulate the idea that to love God is to love your neighbor as your self. Through it comes the joy of not only following Christ but seeing all things work togther for good. See: Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God. Galatians 5:14 The entire law is summed up in a simgle command: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'

About the Author:

The author was born in Odessa Texas on October 31, 1954. After moving to Ft. Worth, then Littleton, Colorado, then Durango, Colorado, he returned to Texas in 1965. He was confirmed at Shepherd King Lutheran church and was the first Eagle Scout at the Boy Scout Troop that met at the same church. He attended the University of Texas at Austin and graduated with a BS in Electrical Engineering in 1977 after which he became an emloyee at IBM. At the same time, he began to design and make stained glass windows and has made many as baptism and wedding gifts. His interest in Stained Glass led to his creation of the Creative Light Filtering Company in 1998. He started active business in 2006 when he began selling note cards with images of his stained glass. Through the years he struggled with a form of mental illness which was finally diagnosed as a schizoaffective disorder. Even so with strict adherence to his treatment with medicine and couseling he even was able to become registered as a Professional Engineer in 1987. His struggles with his illness and his work with stained glass inspired him to write The Three Things.
