Elephant folio. Green portfolio consisting of 50 full page illustrations (complete) by Latvian artist Valdemars Tone. Four plates in full color the rest of the illustrations are in monochrome. There is also laid in an four page introduction by Eric Newton in english. There is an ink inscription at bottom of front endpaper. one of the founders of the Riga Group of experimental artists. The reproductions in this book cover his life's work from an early portrait in 1915 to the portraits of women and still-lifes done in England.
