First American edition, with the following points from BAL: 1. First state, with sheets bulk of 9/16" (exclusive of catalog) and with printing mistake page 247; "binger of dawn". 2. Label; state not determined due to wear -- although BAL assigns no priority to either state. 3. Catalogue (at end of book) State A (no priority assigned by BAL). Ink notation on front end paper.
