Sixth impression made more valuable by the edition of a comprehensive subject index, enabling navigation Inside endpaper bears a book plate from the London School of Economics and Political Science, indicating the book was awarded to Ernest Thorp in 1956-67 as the Raynes Undergraduate Prize. Some light spotting to endpapers. A few marginal notes and underlining in pencil. Dustwrapper has some darkening at edges and on the spine, and a small tear to the front lower edge.
