Original light blue wrapper with black lettering on front cover. 6 X 9 inches. 64 pages. Articles in copy are Pioneer Necrology for June 1, 1927 to May 31, 1928, a poem titled "The Linchpin wagon and its bucket of tar" by Carson C. Masiker, 1853 , tune-"Wait for the Wagon," Annual Address by Mrs. Eva Emery Dye, "Early recollections of Oregon Pioneer life" by Mrs. Inez Eugenia Adams Parker, an obituary for David Watson Craig, who was a second cousin of Gen. Jubal Anderson Early. Mr. Craig came to Oregon in 1853 via Panama, acquiring the language of Greek, Hebrew, Latin and French, without a teacher, before he was sixteen. "Diary of Mrs. Amelia Stewart Knight, An Oregon Pioneer of 1853 (who's black and white photograph is in the beginning of this copy). Pages are very clean and complete. Binding is tight.
