Original light blue wrapper with black lettering on front cover. 5 3/4 X 8 1/2 inches. Pages 222-358. First part of copy contains information on pioneers in attendance which includes names, places of birth and date and when they made the journey to Oregon. Articles include, "Crossing the plains in 1852" This article is a diary of Mrs. Cecelia Emily McMillen Adams, born Lodi, N.Y. 1829 and started her Oregon journey in 1851. Mrs. Adams was very observant and an excellent source of daily routine. "Narrative of James Longmire, A pioneer of 1853" which gives an in depth account of fighting with the Puyallup tribe. Slight chipping on back cover. Both covers are slightly sun faded. Dampstain on top edges of pages. One staple is beginning to rust and shows through the front cover, however pages are not affected.
