Lhote (illustrated with multiple examples of modern art), as well as black-and-white photographs by Brassai, Man Ray, and Edward Weston, and a reproduction of Aaron Copeland's manuscript music for "Gyp's Song" from The Second Hurricane (which premiered in the year of this publication).
