Very Good/Wraps. First. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. This is a stapled pamplet, 8x10 inches, 16 pp. Image of Colonel Richard Henderson on the front cover. No publisher information. Some toning of the cover, otherwise VG. Inscribed on the front flyleaf: " For Mary Best Jones Manning with cordial regards of Archibald Henderson, Chapel Hill, N.C. August 21, 1933:. From the forward: The following "Story of the Transylvania Company and the Founding of Henderson, KY.," was written for the occasion of the unveiling on October 11, 1929, of six great historical tablets to be affixed to the outer walls of Henderson's picturesque old Court House. Apparently this was later reformed into the SIGNIFICANCE OF THE TRANSYLVANIA COMPANY IN AMERICAN HISTORY. Bookseller Inventory # 021260
