Moderate rubbing to extremities, chipping to head of spines, corners bumped and somewhat worn, hinges cracked, front free endpaper of Volume II partially detached. Moderate toning to text, internally clean. Ex-library. Residue from location labels to spines, small inkstamps to preliminaries. $100. * Only edition. This scarce treatise is an excellent Guide to mid-nineteenth century Spanish criminal procedure. It was published at an interesting juncture in Spain's political history: the first years of the Restoration that followed the collapse of the First Spanish Republic in 1874. This title was issued as a two-volume set. An appendix volume was added in 1880. OCLC locates 1 copy in North America (at the LA County Law Library). Not in the British Museum Catalogue.
