About this title

Niko Mayer has been trying to take control of her life and times since she first climbed out of her crib. In Travelin Light Is Not For Me: Worries Weigh A Lot she takes her neurosis international. Life is hard enough to cope with when you are at home cuddled in your own bed near your own closet and medicine chest, but go away and anything can happen clueless sherpas, rogue waves, marriage proposals, dread disease, hot spells followed by hail followed by cold snaps followed by hot flashes.

If you are a luggage intensive traveler, you will find a soul mate in Niko and maybe even some tips. If you have ever wondered when you looked at someone (perhaps your mate) loaded down in customs, What is ALL THAT STUFF? this book is for you. In the hilarious tales of her travels, you find out why she packs so much, and you realize that she only needed to pack one item: a sense of humor. Read this book. As her friend, Diane Miller once said, I'd much rather hear Niko tell about a trip we've taken together than actually travel with her.
