Contemporary calf, lettering piece and blind fillets to spine, early repair to scuff on front board. Light rubbing to extremities, a few minor scuffs, corners bumped and somewhat worn, joints and front hinge starting. Light toning to text, occasional light foxing, tear to front free endpaper mended with archival tape. Early owner inscription to front endleaf, signature to head of title page, interior otherwise clean. $250. * Second edition, a reissue of the first edition (1781). Runnington's treatise on the legal redresses available to wrongfully evicted lessees is a rewritten edition of Sir Geoffrey Gilbert's Law and Practice of Ejectments (1741).
