About the Author: Dominika Latusek is a professor of management and organization theory at Kozminski University in Warsaw, Poland. She conducts research on cooperation within and between organizations with an emphasis on trust and culture in high-tech industries. She was a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Stanford University, where she conducted field studies of Silicon Valley companies.

Alexandra Gerbasi is an assistant professor of sociology at California State University Northridge. She received her Ph.D. from Stanford University. Her primary research interest is how network structures influence the exchange process and the emergent sentiments of the interactions, particularly trust, commitment and emotions.
