His sons extended the business and their first square rigged ship was the first built on the Clyde for owners outside Scotland. Successive Scotts further developed the business building ocean going sailing ships and moving into naval ships and steam ships in the early 19th century. They built the first "Dreadnought" battleship and the first submarine built on the Clyde. They also built liners for Cunard, Booth, Donaldson and Leyland. Green cloth slightly marked but contents in very good condition with no inscriptions. Extremely heavy so probably UK only.
