Two tintype portraits of men, each shown though a paper frame, with an internal revenue stamp on the verso. One, of an elderly gentleman, 42x55mm (shown through an oval paper frame, 35x46mm), with a U.S. Internal Revenue 2-cent Playing Cards stamp (blue, with an image of George Washington). The other, a full-body portrait of a middle-age man, posed standing at the base of a staircase 45x80mm, with a U.S. Internal Revenue Proprietary 3-cent stamp (green, with an image of George Washington).
