Boston / Philadelphia, 1844-1846. 8vo, contemporary half calf over marbled paper, 92 + 480 pp. Two works bound together. The Girard College-related titles are continously paginated (92 pp.), and are as follows: Final Report of the Building Committee of the Girard College for Orphans by John C. Davis; A Report to the Building Committee by Thomas Walter, Architect; The Address Deliverd on Laying the Corner Stone, July 4, 1833 by Thomas Biddle; An Account of the Final Transfer of the Buildings and Grounds to the Board of Directors. All published by L.R. Bailey, Philadelphia, 1848. Contents dampstained, fair overall condition but still usable, with an engraved frontispiece illustration of the Girard College grounds. The Universalist Miscellany, Vol. III, published by Alfred Mudge in 1846 follows. Contents are good plus with some foxing and marginal dampstains. All twelve issues present, bound and paginated continuously. Both works uncommon. Bookseller Inventory # 15067
