The Two Vietnams
A political and military analysis. The French journalist and author wrote this book in 1964 before the US buildup In Viet Nam. He wrote 'Street Without Joy' about the French debacle before the US debacle. History might have been changed had this been required reading for US policy-makers when it was first published. The book's dedication says it all - 'To the valiant and long-suffering Vietnamese - North and South'. They were to suffer ten more years and Fall was to be killed in a combat zone before it was all over. Very good copy with dust jacket. 492p. Bookseller Inventory # 17510
