ELLIS, Edward S. Uncrowning a King: A Tale of King Philip's War. Original pictorial cloth. New York: New Amsterdam Book Company, 1896. First edition. This copy has the ownership signature of Edward P. Alexander on the front free endpaper. Alexander (1835-1910) was born in Washington, Georgia, and graduated West Point in 1857.
