A speech reflecting on the theological topic of love in relation to God and mankind, discussing Christian duties in religion, as well as the duties of freemasons to uphold Christian ideals. This includes a defense of secrecy in freemasonry. Stephen Gano was a physician and pastor in the Providence, Rhode Island area during the late 1700s-early 1800s. GOOD condition. Moderate foxing and spotting to the first and last few pages, with minor scattered foxing throughout. General browning to the paper, heavier along the upper portion.
