A collection of poetry, accompanied by nice woodcuts, reflecting on the life and landscape of coastal Maine. Hazel Brill Jackson was a sculptor perhaps best known for her animal bronzes, winning two prizes for her art. Her work is held by several colleges and museums (New York Times). GOOD+ condition. Wrappers faded, with minor soiling and some creasing, mostly at the corners. Small ink spot to the lower front cover. Extremities scuffed and bumped.
