Condition: VG; light wear to tips, head, and tail from shelving; signed presentation card from The Surgeon General (Leonard Andrew Scheele) pasted down on FFFP. No DJ as issued. Green cloth boards and spine with red and gilt lettering on spine; gilt Army crest on front board. This volume deals with the logistics of hospitalization and evacuation of casualties to the zone of the interior. This volume covers the logistics of patient movement, coordination with civilian authorities for hospitalization, beds, supplies, physicians, nurses, and other administrative staff required to handle large numbers of casualties.
