About this Item

70 p., Brown paper over cardstock, with black and gilt decoration. The book has an opening statement by James J. Hill, on the values of education and leading a good life. Hill gave the address at the dedication of a new agriculture building, apparently as part of the graduation activities. The book of course has the names of graduates, each with a photograph, hometown, college activities, and a quotation. There also are club, team, and other group photographs, an alumni roll call, humorous and inspirational tidbits, and advertisements. With black-and-white photographs plus two in color-one of cows, one of two young lads entitled "When we were young." The entire book has period borders, decorations, and drawings. Fine except that the paper edges of the cover extend beyond the body of the book and are a little worn and the back cover has a few wrinkles. Bookseller Inventory # 0526UM1

We concentrate on nonfiction, particularly history, and in books of a local or regional nature--city, county, state histories, for instance, and histories of movements, institutions, churches, organizations, and people particular to those places. We have family histories, historical or regional fiction, children's books, cook books, and interesting books on the arts, antiques, and useful crafts. We have a small selection of fiction, many biographies and autobiographies, some prints and posters, drawers full of ephemera on the above topics.
