Synopsis: This complete, up-to-the-minute autobiography of the Doles takes an extraordinary look at Washington life at its highest levels and provides an account of a unique marriage that has thrived in the pressure cooker of Capitol Hill. A personal view of a unique partnership, Unlimited Partners offers a tale of courage and triumph as well as a timely story of politics. of photos.

Review: In their quest to become the next First Couple, Bob and Elizabeth Dole have written the story of their lives, from his childhood during the Depression to his long-seated political career (with an emphasis on his military service), from her days in the Harvard Law School to her presidency of the Red Cross (with an emphasis on her scrutiny of the proper role of a First Lady). This book is particularly notable because Mr. Dole seems to have finally discovered the first person!
