Description:

87 pages. Green cover and spine has gold stamped lettering. Front cover has small scuff marks, a 1/2-inch dent, and a 18-inch round pink stain. Front and back bottom corners have a 1-inch crease that also creases most of the pages. Spine edges worn and/or frayed. Top edge is soiled, fore-edge and bottom edge discolored. Front free-endpaper has 1908 Red Cross Christmas stamp and a 9-word inscription in a beautiful calligraphic hand. Red Cross stamp left a shadow on paste-down. Front and back endpapers have foxing. Fine-quality paper used in interior. Occasional foxing, stains and smudges on pages. Many pages are clean. Faint water stain on side edge of pages 1-54.
