About this Item

Cloth. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. This looks like a more limited edition than the LEC. 150 copies were printed. No publisher or place is given. The book is bound as a pillow for the front board. Originally had some sort of scroll which would also permit the use of the book as a book-rack, now missing. Off white linen binding with title/author on spine in brown lettering. From the colophon: 150 copies of this printing are presented to their friends by Helen and George Macy to greet the New Year, 1937. It is hoped that the first use to which this volume is put will be that of pleasurable reading. But the book scroll placed in in the back cover will permit the use of this book as a book-rack; and its removal will permit its use as a pillow by those who are unable to read its pages. Store Description

The Reader's Corner is such fun,it's too bad you have to buy our books on line. We have eight foot tall outside bookshelves across the entire front of the store. There is a money slot in the door for night sales, which go to support National Public Radio. Inside, which can be too crowded at times, are surprisingly good books, only 1% are ever listed on-line. We also sell records, music cd's, comic books, mags, computer software and games. Best of all is the found art decorating every spare spot. The motto on the front door: NO SHOOTING, NO SMOKING, NO MOONING THE MANAGEMENT.
