Three full page plates: "Reduced Facsimile of the Title-Page of the Edition of March, 1518 "Reduced Facsimile of the Woodcut of the Utopian Alphabet" and "Reduced Facsimile of the Woodsuct of the Island of Utopia". Text in Latin (lower portions of the apges) and English (upper portions) with the original 16th century spelling retained in the English portion. Extensive footnotes. A tight, bright example of this scarce edition, some very faint, nearly imperceptible highlighting to a few lines in the introductory section, small ink notation in the margin of p. xxv.
