Green cloth binding with green and black colored print on cover and spine. Front cover and spine are decorated with leaf designs. Top section of cover has green title box with black background with leaves and birds. Middle section has black border with "Peoples Edition" written in center with leaves throughout section. Bottom section has black and green border with two small boxes on ends and larger one in center with "Illustrated" written in black. They also have leaf and flower designs. Spine has gold title box. Fading of print in gutter areas at bottom of spine. Light brown floral pattern endpapers. Inside pages are uniformly lightly toned. Rear cover has a few small marks on bottom edge. Inside front cover has owners namel. Inside rear cover has foxing around edges. Pages 215 - 220 have a fold in them with a small tear on page 215/216. Otherwise tight, sound and unmarked. 244 pages. Cover states Illustrated, but I cannot find any in this edition. Nor is there evidence of anything removed. There is one small diagram of a scene on one page. Size: 5 X 7 1/2.
