About this title

When a pre-tourist season visitor to Vineyard Haven survives a murder attempt by donning a bullet-proof vest, sometime private investigator J. W. Jackson wonders how the man knew that someone would try to kill him and looks into the deeds of a former Olympic medalist-turned-real estate developer who is buying deeds and evicting homeowners. 25,000 first printing.

About the Author:

Philip R. Craig grew up on a small cattle ranch near Durango, Colorado, before going off to college at Boston University, where he was an all-American fencer.
