About this Item

First edition, second printing per Kelly (pp.9-13) without publisher's device on title page and with battered type to "near the" on p.39:4 and very slightly to "warm" p.41:3. We'd say this copy is a mixed state but presume instead there is a typo on p.10 of Kelly's bibliography and the intended reading is "p.4 unrevised" (i.e., "the affability") and "p.360 revised" (i.e., "lost one colour"). Octavo green cloth stamped in dark green and white on front and spine and with photographic plate on front. About very good with name and address on pastedown, spine a little dulled and photographic plate a bit rubbed. Bookseller Inventory # 48813
