350 copies printed by Hatcher Press, designed by Jack W. Stauffacher. 383 pages; illustrations; bibliographies, index; bound in green cloth with gilt lettering on the spine (7 3/4 x 11 1/4 inch). Prospectus included along with ordering card and envelope. Includes an preface by Richard Dillon. The Talisman Press was a two man operation centered on mainly Western Americana and ran by Robert Greenwood and Newt Baird which published the books of renowned scholars as Rodman Paul, Dale Morgan and Braham Nasatir. Along with the Talisman history is a bibliography of books published by the press, bibliography of books published by Talisman Literary Research, Inc. and a supplement to California Imprints, 1833-1862.
