Oversize hardcover, blue cloth with light shelfwear. Might be a rebinding but shows no sign of having been spiral bound, which most listed copies are. Large water stain to the foreward, otherwise clean and tight. The Valley News Echo was a newspaper published monthly from 1959 through 1965 by Potomac Edision. It reprinted contemporary accounts of Civil War events. It starts with John Brown's raid on the federal arsenal at Harper's Ferry and ends with General Lee's surrender at Appomattox, Virginia in 1865. Complete set. Unpaginated, b&w illus.
