8vo. 24.5 by 16 cm. 254 pp. 24 hand-colored plates by Rowlandson of forever evocative, lively depiction of rural life. Tooley 436. Full tan calf with dentelle turn-ins and other gilt ornamentation. Light rubbing of the joints and light wear besides. Shadow where book plate once was and small abrasion on rear pastedown. The lightest of occasional soiling to the pages, which are overall clean.
