Photo illustrated wraps, with a front cover photo by Man Ray. Folio. Pagination runs 43-66. With reproductions of a few paintings throughout. A single issue of this magazine devoted to art and literature, featuring eight poems by e.e. cummings, as well as the first appearance in print of poetry by Phillip Lamantia. Then 15 years old, Lamantia would go on to be an early member of both the San Francisco Renaissance and Beat movements, influencing many writers with his use of Surrealism. Also of note is the front cover photo, done by Man Ray. GOOD+ condition. Minor to moderate soiling and scuffing to the rear covers, with lighter wear to the front. General minor fading and toning.
